2025 Salty Dog Mayor of

Historic St Andrews

On March 29, 2025, tails wagged, paws paraded, and the spirit of community shone brightly at one of the most heartwarming events in St. Andrews—Salty Dog Day. Hosted to benefit the St. Andrews Waterfront Partnership, this uniquely charming fundraiser put the spotlight on our furry friends, allowing the public to "vote" for their favorite canine candidates with every dollar donated. The result? A day filled with joy, laughter, barks, and a truly paw-triotic celebration.

It was my honor to attend this unforgettable event and capture its essence through photography. From the excited energy of the crowd to the proud strut of each doggy dignitary, the atmosphere was pure magic. This photo book is a tribute to that day and to the incredible animals—and humans—who made it so special.

The highlight of the day was the announcement of the newly elected Salty Dog Mayor Ginger, a poised and lovable leader, accompanied by the enthusiastic Vice Mayor River, and the ever-charming Commissioner Walter. With Commissioner Josh Street presiding over the peaceful transition of “paw-er” from former Mayor Brooks to Mayor Ginger, it was a moment that reminded us of the joy and unity pets bring into our lives.

I hope these images bring a smile to your face and serve as a lasting memory of a truly paw-some day in Historic St. Andrews. Here's to our four-legged leaders and to the community that supports them with such love and enthusiasm.
